My name is Candise. I have never had to ask for help before and admit I'm a little embarrassed to be in this situation. I have worked for the same employer, full time, for 23 years. I bought my own house 8 years ago. Recently, I received papers from my mortgage company saying my water heater and other things in my house were not "up to code" and that I needed to repair them to keep my mortgage intact. I did not hesitate and spent a lot of money on the repairs so I wouldn't lose my house. Now that I've spent so much money (including some from my 401k), I am falling behind on some regular monthly bills. I really need help with my water bill, which is now 1 month behind. ~ Candise C.
